A Little Note to My Lovely Customers

After a very busy time in the shop, I’m taking a much-needed break with my sisters (I am the one in the middle of the photo. @I’ll be back on 12th June, refreshed and ready to get stuck back in!

The shop will remain open while I’m away thanks to the kindness of friends, family, and volunteers who have generously offered to help keep things running. As they’ll be working on a skeleton basis and doing me a huge favour, I’d be so grateful if everyone could be patient, understanding, and kind.

They’ll do their very best to help, but if you have a query, request, or issue that really needs my attention, I’d appreciate it if you could wait until I return on 12th June.

The Little Black Dog Wardrobe is a pre-loved clothing and accessories shop offering customers the chance to buy designer and high end items at a fraction of the retail price. We are always looking for the unusual item, something different, quirky but quality, dog walking glamour with an edge.  We strive to find unusual but affordable clothing and accessories to offer our ladies.

Little Black Dog Wardrobe has two floors of pre-loved items including clothes, handbags, shoes, jewellery, scarves and accessories, with clothing in sizes 6 to 20 from designer names and high end brands as well as non branded quality items. Whether customers are looking for everyday wear or a special occasion outfit or accessory we have a wonderful selection of items which are constantly changing. Little Black Dog Boutique offers a friendly service in delightful surroundings alongside excellent customer service.

"I took over The Little Black Dog Wardrobe Boutique on Earsham Street in 2019 with great excitement and some trepidation but convinced that the ethos of a pre-loved clothing boutique was an ethical and environmentally conscious way to encourage people to re-think their buying patterns.

I have a background in textile design after accomplishing a BA Hons degree from Nottingham many years ago. My love for fabrics whether colour, texture or pattern, interiors or fashion is definitely my passion which I am lucky enough to share with my clients who visit Little Black Dog Wardrobe.

At Little Black Dog Wardrobe I would like to hold events to show off the fabulous and often unique pieces of clothing and jewellery which come into the shop from clients far and wide. These events consist of a light supper promoting local food and wine suppliers, of which we have plenty, held in a local venue combined with a specialised speaker and of course holding a Little Black Dog Wardrobe fashion show. All exciting stuff!
